Premier Research Honored as “Clinical Research Team of the Year” at 2008 GCPj Awards

Premier Research Group Limited, the international pharmaceutical services group, has been awarded the Good Clinical Practice Journal (GCPj) Award for the “Clinical Research Team of the Year” for its Global Phase 2 Chronic Myeloid Leukemia team. This award is one of a series of GCPj awards that recognizes, celebrates, and rewards corporate and individual excellence in clinical research.
The “Clinical Research Team of the Year” award honors the achievements of a team that has made the most difference to a pharmaceutical or biotech company's research program and that has made great strides on its core project through exemplary teamwork. The judges looked for strong performance against short-term goals, including patient recruitment and retention and data collection targets, and its impact on achieving longer-term objectives of advancing drug development.
Covering seven countries and nine time zones, Premier Research’s Global Phase 2 CML Study Team provided their sponsor innovative solutions in a tight timeframe through streamlined communication, unwavering dedication, and extraordinary hard work. In addition to achieving goals of the sponsor, the team is responsible for the development of novel working practices and the enhancement of international processes at Premier Research. Team interactions improved research standards in major cancer centers responsible for a substantial number of oncology drugs being proposed to market making a significant impact on the future of clinical data and compliance with ICH/GCP.
